Wines of Provence

Provence is the first vineyard ever created in France, since the Greek settlement in 700 BC. It is a terroir of Whites and Rosés, due to the harsh sun and the blowing wind which let the grapes ripen quickly. They are an invitation to relax, and appreciate a quiet rest at the end of a daywork. Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault are the most commonly used to make rosé. Vermentino, Clairette, Roussanne and Sauvignon Blanc to make white. In all cases, Provence wines are fresh and fruity, and are ideal for spring and summer.
