Burgunder Weine
Burgundy is a myriad of small clearly delimited terroirs called "climats". Reds are made with sole Pinot Noir, while Whites are made with sole Chardonnay.
Burgundy broadens between Mâcon and Dijon, alongside the Saône river. One of its extensions close to Auxerre, hosts Chablis vineyard, chose Chardonnay is the among the best white wines in the world. Many vineyards are planted on hillsides (coteaux), to benefit the best of sunlight and heat.
