Vins de Beaujolais

Beaujolais would be nothing without Gamay. This variety is the essence of Beaujolais, whose reputation relies on its Crus, and of course Beaujolais Nouveau.

Beaujolais wine are fruity, easy to drink, while remaining a certain complexity. Crus, when aged in oak casks, get close to great Rhone or Burgundy wines. For Beaujolais is a transition terroir between these two regions.

Beaujolais Nouveau is the first wine of the year, but Crus can be kept many years in cellars.
