👨🎓【THE ESTATE】The Saint-Joseph appellation was first called Vins de Mauves, taking its name from the village where the plots were located. These wines were already recognized and tasted on the greatest European tables in the Middle Ages. Later, the name changed to Saint-Joseph. Then the appellation was created in 1956, and has grown to 1463 hectares today.

General Presentation

Domaine Luyton-Fleury represents four generations of passionate nursery growers and winemakers who love their Ardèche terroir. All have had the chance to evolve in a region renowned for housing one of the most prestigious Côtes du Rhône appellations: Saint-Joseph, formerly known as "vin de Mauves."

It is this passion that led two cousins, Pascal Luyton and Raphaël Fleury, to embark on producing their own wine. As vine and wine shapers, they work with a spirit of returning to roots and nature. They rely on exceptional family plots to produce quality vine plants, as well as delicate wines, known under several appellations:
