General presentation

The Deacons Reserve is a cuvée produced in collaboration with Baptiste Grangeon, famous winemaker of Châteauneuf du Pape.

This cuvée is produced with great care, from neighboring vineyards and friends of Baptiste, to offer consumers a racy and elegant wine, in the pure tradition of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Traditional winemaking, the grapes Grenache (60%), Syrah (30%) and Mourvèdre (10%) are crushed early in the morning, then a cold maceration of the grapes is carried out for about 24 hours maintained at 4 °C to 5 °C.

Then, the juices are heated to start the alcoholic fermentation. The grapes are kept in vats for about 3 weeks.

After the separation of grapes and wine, malolactic fermentation begins.

The wine is aged for about 10 months in a stainless steel tank, before being bottled.
