A family story

"1847 marks the arrival of my first ancestor BOËVER in the wine-growing region of Louvois. After generations of winegrowers, it was not until 1946 that my grandparents Paulette and Gaston founded the brand “Champagne Gaston BOEVER” which would become “Champagne Pierre BOEVER” under the leadership of my parents in 1970. Since 2005, with my wife, Laure, we have been the third generation of harvesters and handlers to produce our champagnes according to the rules of the art.

Respecting the inherited family know-how, we prefer to use traditional Coquard presses so as not to rush our grapes during this crucial phase; Maximum use of gravity in the vat room for the transfer of wines helps avoid untimely oxygenation to guarantee our wines a certain character and authenticity.

Our Sign: Le Bouchon, identifiable in the heart of the village, this emblem was built by my parents. A subtle alliance between my father's metalwork and my mother's creativity."
